Re: how long does a sale usually take?

Drop it to 1000 and see what kind of attention you get. Your price is fair but everyone wants a deal. If you have time hold firm and it will go but it may take some time. Any car is worth as much...

Re: Radial tires

I have been thinking about them but I currently have plenty of life on my WW Firestones. The only problem with radials is they do not hold up like Bias Ply. I have no problem riding on 10 plus year...

Re: Any T owners in North Carolina

I have lots of Model A buddies in my area but with the T I am solo. Funny how different the reactions are on the T over the A. People get really exited to see it and several have followed me on my...

Hey Guys
I have had my 1915 Touring for a few months now. I have sanded and buffed the paint, changed the fluids, and it is now second nature for me to drive her. The only problem I am having is...

Re: Doesn't Want to Restart After Running a While

Do you have the Modern Points and condenser? I have them and will be going back to the original style. I had a similar problem and I found out you need to have the cable screwed into the...

Re: Engine RPMs

20 on the low end and 25 on the high for me depending on road conditions. Any slower than 20 would be out of the question for me and most of my shifts into 3rd are around 23.

Re: Antifreeze yes or no?

I have been down this road and thought 50 50 mix was the way to go but my 1929 Model A thought different. It was ok until we go into the 90's and I then over heated several times when pushing the...

Re: What Made You Choose The Model T Over the A

Get Both. My 29 Model A is better in modern traffic but my 1915 T is just so darn cool and with a Warford overdrive, disk brakes and high compression head its about as fast as my Model A. The 1915...

Re: opinions on 'lifts'

Four Post backyard Buddy. Very well made and it works on my full size modern Pickup as well as my A and T. It does cost more but it's worth the money over the cheep unsafe China lifts that are on...

Re: 7 Tooth Help

I have a F100 steering box in my 29 and could not be happier. In my opinion get a 2 tooth or a F100 box and be done with it.

Re: Are you happy with your Mitchell Overdrive?

Or you could just put Mitchel into Neutral shift into 2nd or third and then engage the Mitchel. As for double clutching I never did that without the Mitchel.....only double clutch when down...

Re: What Made You Choose The Model T Over the A

I have a 29 Model A Phaeton and a 1915 Model T Touring. They both have a place in my stable.

The 29 is much better for driving at modern speeds with the Mitchel OD.

My 15 is still a bit...

Re: Seat springs

If your looking for more leg room forget the springs. I just had a car done with 2'' of foam. It looks and feels great.....I have also gained some leg room.

Re: Lots of A's but not so many T's

I have been finding that older gentlemen pack them away in huge collections. I was just visiting a man who must have had 45 T's in driving condition. Amazing sight to see.

T with the most Driver Leg Room

Hey Guys
I was able to get myself behind the wheel of a 1915 Touring car and it was just a bit to tight for my 6'3'' frame. Do any years/styles have more driver leg room for us tall guys? I know...

Re: Lots of A's but not so many T's

That seems a bit high for what's still around but I hope your right. As for finding one Hemmings had something like 210 A's and 80 T's. When I look at the T's many were hotrods and a lot looked...

Lots of A's but not so many T's

Been looking for a Model T and sure seems like A's can be found all over but not so much with the T's. Did less Model T's survive? How many do you think are left out of the 15 million made?
