What a great video. I kept wondering if anyone can watch this video and tell the year and make of every vehicle.

I am as ADD as they come. However this film is also a bit ADD. It goes from a cruise down Wilshire Blvd in Beverly Hills to an eruption of Old Faithful in Yellowstone.

Great video. By the way, I had to look it up on You Tube to watch it. The Fordbarn copy wouldn't download for me.

I thought a lot of the driving habits were rather poor. I guess it shows where today's idiots came from.

That was weird; you never saw the same car twice like you see in today’s movies about that time period.

I was interested in all the empty lots. Lot of money sitting there. The middle of the depression however. If they only knew or perhaps they did. I tried to pause it and read the writing on the road. Got part of it.

I've wanted to post a movie for a while but with all of the bickering about non-Ford post I opped not to until now. (figured if you had already enjoyed one movie a second would not hurt) It was produced by Henry Ford but is more about life in early 20 centry America. Titled "Mirror of America" Its 30+ minutes long but I found it very interesting.

The unmarked lanes made for some interesting freestyle driving. I guess they were used to it and looked before moving to the side.

There are a few versions of this on you tube, but the one I really liked seems to be gone. It had no music track, just the sound of the car with the camera shifting gears and the engine chugging along. Any idea where that version went to?

From what I've read and heard Bob Hope was one of the richest people in Hollywood during his time. He got most of his money through real estate
buying/selling in Hollywood and surrounding areas.;)

Surprised not to see any Model T Fords at all. I guess they were all old cars by the mid-1930s, and certainly not classy enough for Wilshire Blvd!!

I got the link to the Wilshire Blvd clip last year and the opening scene was really good timing. It just happened that at at the same time I was doing some things to my friend's car below. The car at the beginning of the clip turns out to be a British built RHD Rolls of the same period (1926ish), while the one below is U.S. built. It sure is a kick seeing the cars in the clip!!!

Hey tallcoil, If you stop the film at 1:17 and look to the right, under the Eaton's restaurant sign, you'll see the one and only Model T touring that I could see, pulling out onto Wilshire.
