grew up in Warren (practically next to the GM Tech Center), but the family moved to the Los Angeles area right as I would have been starting high school (at Charles S. Mott)

Fitzgerald, class of 1961. When the 2010 Roundup was in Troy, I drove my Ford back to its old stomping grounds. Revisited my home and school. The last time it had been there was before we moved in 1963. Took a picture at school and with Ford parked in the same spot beside our house that it was in in my avatar in 1962.

I worked at the Tech Center in summer of 1965. By then, the Ford was put up for its long sleep in Grandma's garage in Ohio, and I was driving my new Rambler convertible.

I'm not from MI. Central Indiana, but I've traveled though some of MI. You have a beautiful state. I bought my 31 Tudor from a guy in China Twp last year. I love it. I plan to go to the Gilmore Museum this year. Anyone know when it will be open with displays? I wonder if they will let me drive inside the grounds and take a picture parked in front of the new Model A building?
