47 ford car transmission

Hi Can the trans side cover be taken off in the car. It looks tight around the brake pedal. or does the tranny have to come out. Thanks

did you pull the floorboard cover? it should be accessible.

It can be done, but is difficult. Even more difficult to get it back together. As said above, much easier with the floorboards out.

Thanks for the help.I got the floor off. It just looks very tight around the brake pedal. I got parts coming so i'll give it a try.
