Low dollar fordor on MAFCA site

Descent looking blindback in Cali, price reduction from 6k down to 4.5k. Looks like it could be a good buy, if the wood is in ok shape. Listed in the cars for sale on the mafca site. Sorry no link....

Is it a 30-31 body on a 28 chassis? Fender look like 28 to me but the body does not. Maybe thats why so cheap?

It is not a 30-31 body. The cowl on the 28-29 Fordors, Town Sedans, Cabriolets and Town Cars looked similar to the 30-31 cowls.

A Lot! I'm replacing the wood in my Town Sedan and I can tell you it's the "woodiest" model. In dollar terms, the complete new wood would run you over $4000. However, the bright side is that Very few cars need a complete replacement. And if you have any abilities at all, you can reverse engineer a lot of it. Water is what makes the wood go. Usually there is a lot of rust to go with bad wood. Judging by the exterior and the location (California) I would guess that the wood's not too bad.

Dave: Don't forget all 4 doors which are ALL wood and then "skinned".
