rear end goo

any recommendations on rear end goo. i was going to put new fluid or grease in . i was told to take both plugs out and drain with car on jack stands. turn the wheels to get all out . put bottom plug back in and put karocene in top and turn wheels to clean gears and drain. not sure what to refill with.

600 wt oil in the rear.... I wouldn't worry about cleaning it with karocene unless you have a lot of sludge coming out

I bought a 5 gallon can of Mobil 636 to use. I also wouldn't worry about flushing it out. Just let it drain overnight and check the drain pan for any metal. If you see any metal chips then the rear needs to come apart anyway.

Straight 90 or 140 is fine for the rear end.If it leaks, then you needed new seals anyways.
