40-41 2 door sedan body size

Are the body and chassis of a 1940 2 door sedan the same shape and size as a 41 2 door sedan ? Thanks

35 -40 chassis are roughly the same
41 -48 are roughly the same
40 -41 year break, was a comlpetly new design change
