Pickup bed wood plans
 

I just looked through six pages of archives on this topic, but found nothing that would give me the dimensions for 1929 bed wood. I know I've seen plans somewhere, I just can't remember where. (Or, as someone said, I know a lot of stuff, I just can't remember it.)

Can someone point me in the right direction?

Try page 15 of "Restoring the Model "A" Pickup" by Mac Hils, Moberly, Missouri. I know what you are thinking you would like me to do, but I am respecting his copyright.

Check page 177 of " The Ford model "A" as Henry Built It" It gives all the dimensions of the box wood for 28-early 31 " A" PU,s.

I saved this images from the forum, the first image is for a model T 25 to 27 bed and the others are model A narrow bed...

Thank you all; this is what I needed. I have " The Ford model "A" as Henry Built It", and that's where I had seen the dimensions. I had even looked in there, but missed it.

remember, the early bed is slightly longer (~1/2") than the later beds. be sure and measure your bed against the 'length' dimensions of the wood in the drawings .... don't ask me how I know :eek:
