Thanks HW. Those AA's look really wide coming at you on the narrow road. The Grand Tour is one of my favorite parts of a National Meet.

Re: MARC Grand Tour Video

I have to be honest i thought is was bit boring... We drove a total of approx 38 miles round trip and back for our boxed lunch.. I do remember a great tour in French Lick where we went to the plantation, saw a tour, lunch and back at our leisure.. THAT was a tour, on the other hand the Ladies A Tour was 25 miles to to the Antique Town of Ripon for lunch, shopping and then to the Larson Clydesdale's for a great Tour..Just have to be honest that i thought the grand tour was a bit boring at 18 miles an hour!

Could you please move over to the right a little more? You're making me nervous.

Re: MARC Grand Tour Video

This is a nice reprise for those of us that were not able to attend. Unfortunately, the presence of a modern car in the middle of the column was a little disappointing to see - wish those folks would elect to stay at either the beginning or the end of the group. My son went with me to French Lick a couple of years back, and unfortunately we got stuck behind a late model car/truck that killed our ability to take any "period pictures" from where we were in the line-up. Don't mean to offend anyone, but it just seemed a little inconsiderate to me at the time. Thanks again for posting this.

Re: MARC Grand Tour Video

I thought it was a nice and fun leisurely tour through some of the backroads of Wisconsin. There was a huge burst of adrenaline at one point when a deer rose up out of a ditch on the side of the road and jumped across the road mere feet in front of the A that was traveling in front of us. No idea how they managed to avoid hitting that!

Did everyone notice the A chassis and cowl at the one turn?

Re: MARC Grand Tour Video

That is a great video. My '28 CCPU is 1:09 minutes into the tour. Registration license #128. Is there any way that we could buy a copy of that video? I wonder if anyone took a video of the cars going the opposite direction. My Grandson "Mitch Dolak" drove my '30 Town Sedan (#127) going in the opposite direction. Don/WI

Appreciate the comments and glad to hear some were able to pick out their vehicle.

Mo says she'll think about copies of the video when we return home next week.

We are currently enjoying Door County in the 28' CCPU and have many photos from the meet to upload when we return.
