Hello to the whole Ford Barn group.
I need a Model B crankshaft, because mine is out of order, does anyone know who can supply me, please.
Thank you in advance from Spain.
Greetings Alfonso.

Try Bert's in Denver. 800-321-1931 but that number probably won't work from Spain. Try email: [email protected]

Hello Alfonso

Closer to home, try Belcher Engineering in UK

Gary's Spanish probably isn't up to much, but he will have what you need and ships worldwide

I have an early one - no counterweights. It has standard sized journals but freight to Spain would probably be expensive.

You are very welcome

Let us know how you get on. My father and I run B engines in three of our Model A's. All English, made in Dagenham.

Post some pics of yours when you get time.

And Feliz aņo nuevo to you too!

Hello Juggs:

I have not received a response from Gary, these are bad dates, I will wait.
My car is a 1930 roadster, bought in 2015, had V8 hydraulics brakes, in very bad condition, I renewed them completely, the gearbox is also B, and the gears went out, I repaired the selector, and I was only able Make 1,700 km before the connecting rod breakdown.

Taking advantage of the breakdown, I have it disassembled to paint, so it is not in the best moments for photographs.

I am happy that your A model, with a B-motor, works properly, have you lengthened the development of the transmission?

I'll let you know about the progress on my car.

Best regards, Alfonso.

Thanks Syncro 909, indeed, the cost of shipping from Australia must be expensive.

Happy year 2107, greetings Alfonso

No, all stock transmission and torque tube. Used stock A flywheel housing and an English AAE oil pan (which does not have the shroud on it) that was original to an English AA truck.

If you need help and guidance on fitting a B motor in an A then a search on here will provide the answers, or I'd recommend Jim Brierley's book which has chapter and verse
