This is a great clip. Those guys really earned their pay. Many interesting methods. Notice the striping tool.

Looks like the same folks did this as the "Rhapsody in Steel" film posted here a couple times . Looks like much of the same stuff . Neat stuff to say the least & I'd sure like to stock up on somma doze new grilles & fenders !!!!!!

Thank you, I have never seen this movie before. I did attend the Henry Ford Trade School (T-section) at the Rouge Plant in Dearborn MI. It was next the the engine assenbly building. Long after the 1934 Ford was built. I was there in I951 and 1952 it looked much the same as in this movie. Mark

Did you notice how they carefully measured the gasket thickness when they assembled the rear axle? Ha Ha

I loved watching the grille getting stamped out. Good to see the processes involved.

In fact I like watching all the pressing operations.

And the forging.

And the assembly.

In fact there was nothing in there I didn't like!

In the Model A video, Yokohama Fords, you see a guy using a brush to pin stripe the new cars. Narrator said it was very hard on your back!!
