Wish bone ball

How is the best way to install the rubber ball on the wishbone whiile the wishbone is still in place? Thanks

I just did this on our '39 LZ. I coated the ball on the wishbone with some Vaseline and put some in the rubber ball, placed the rubber in the pocket in the cross member and let the weight of the car force the wishbone ball up into the rubber.
