1932 ON/OFF Ignition Switch Lever

Does anyone have a really nice 32 ignition switch lever that I could buy or borrow. I need one that has not been re-plated or worked on that has well defined concentric circles on the thumb rest.
Please PM or e-mail me.

Thanks very much,

Chad

I am not sure where you are going with this but in case you are planning to make some I think someone just came out with a very nice repro of this part.

Chad, you may be the third person who I am now aware of reproducing or planning to reproduce this part. I have three/four stock '32-early '35 bullseye type levers in my collection. Three are/were in early '35 column drops and one is presently in a '32 drop that's in a complete '32 column that I recently acquired. None of these levers have been replated/restored in any way. Send me a pm/email if you would be interested in seeing pictures of these. I believe two/three of these would be good candidates for possibily meeting your requirements but I am not really interested in selling any of these right now but a loaner may have some possibilities.

Chad, do you have any of these done yet?

Walt Trautwein makes a very nice reproduction. Last number I have for him 518 677 5668. I have used several and they look and work great.

Re: 1932 ON/OFF Ignition Switch Lever

Hey guys. I have a few of these done. They are nickel plated as original and very nice. They also have the slot on the back side for the rear plate as per original. I heard that Walt's doesn't have this and is chrome plated. I have not had one in my hands so I can not say for sure. I have had to move and haven't had time to offer these up.
I am going to have many more made but have a few for Ford Barners only if you need one. I'll post some pictures shortly.

Two repros are already on the market, have seen both on eBay.

Here you are..... PM me if you'd like one. They are cast from an original lever. They are heavy bronze. The inside may need slight filing to fit your inner shaft. This is left intentionally so as to get a tight fit. Roy N. and David G. both agree this is an excellent piece.
Thank you.

Re: 1932 ON/OFF Ignition Switch Lever

Thanks David! Didn't mean to force an endorsement.
They seem to go for $50 clams each plus $5 shipping for now until I find out how much these mailers cost. Feel free to return lever unmodified if you don't like it. Full refund less shipping.
When I have more made, I will post them in the classifieds. Please note that I work away from home a lot, I'm building a new house and garage and I'm raising twin 4 year old girls so I get busy with other things, hence the lag in offering these.
Also, I am working on the much needed ON/OFF switch plate.

Do yours use the small spring plate inside the hole?

Re: 1932 ON/OFF Ignition Switch Lever

Terry, the relief is there as it is cast from an excellent original part but you do not need it. The choice is yours.
