Knott's "Ford day" Hey Guy's
For the Ford Guy's here in So. Cal. next sunday (April 22 ) is the All Ford Day at Knott's Berry Farm... I went last year & it was great. It's for any year Ford from 1903 to present...Yes,,,there was even a row of Pinto's and Edsel's !!! See ya there, Greg out West |
Re: Knott's "Ford day" Yes, the show is awesome. They state there's approx 2000 to 2500 Ford cars displayed each year. This year they're honoring the anniversarys of the Cobra, Mustangs and the infamous Edsel! The local Edsel club will be showing up with a bunch of cool cars. I'm driving my '58 Villager 9 passenger station wagon over as I live approx 10 miles from Knotts. If you're coming to the show stop by and say hi.
By the way, I'm looking to trade my wagon for a Model A if you know someone that might be interested. Thanks, Lou |
Re: Knott's "Ford day" I usually take me Legend Lime mustang, but missed it the last 2 years. Might go as a spectator this year. Nice show and the weather should be nice, hopefully. Mark.

Re: Knott's "Ford day" how bout parking ?
|
Re: Knott's "Ford day" Hey 29 Wagon,,, These's a 3 hour free lot right in front of the Roller Coaster. Turn left before you drive under the Coaster.... Greg,, |
Re: Knott's "Ford day" Parking is not a problem. Up and down Beach Blvd are many strip malls with large parking lots. On the corner of Beach Blvd and La Palma is an IHOP. Drive past it pull into the parking lot and park. Walk across the street and you're at the show!
When at the show look for the Edsels. I'll be there with my green and white 1959 9 passenger Villager wagon. Stop by and say hello! Lou |
Re: Knott's "Ford day" Hey Lou, I'am going to try my best to go to the Knott's meet Sunday,,,I'ed like to stop by and see your Edsel...How will I know who to look for ? Greg out West,,, |
Re: Knott's "Ford day" Look for the only 1958 Edsel Villager 9 passenger station wagon that's green and white. Ask any one by the Edsels and they'll know where I am, maybe. I'm 5' 8", very little white hair and a trimmed white beard. I do like to walk around and look at the other cars so if I out and about call my cell 714-609-3685. I hope to see ya there!

Re: Knott's "Ford day" Someday I will make it down to that show. I have heard about it for years and it sounds like a great show. I have wanted a 58 Edsel wagon since I was a kid in high school. I have a stable of different old Fords but there always seems to be "just one more I'd like to have". My wife and I enjoy visiting the Anaheim area and try to get down there once a year. This Sept. we are planning a road trip down there in her '65 Falcon convert, but one year we will have to plan it around the Knott's show. And if anyone hasn't ridden the Ghostrider wooden coaster at Knott's, don't miss it. One of the best things you can do in the LA area, IMO.
