Steering wheel cover Searching for a source for the old leather or vinyl steering wheel cover large enough to fit over the A wheel. I drive mine a lot & the wheel is fairly slippery, checked J C Whitney & didn't find any. Any other ideas?

Re: Steering wheel cover You might have to go to some leather shop and buy a strip and stitch it on, or use lacing to install it.

Have you thought of taking 600 grit sand paper and going over it to remove the oil and slickness...That might look nicer than a modern leather cover!:o |

This is my '33 pickup. Any auto supply should have steering wheel gripper, comes in red, gray, black or tan like this. Takes a little effort to pull and stretch but it looks and feels good! |
Re: Steering wheel cover Thanx Bob, Just what I was looking for!

Re: Steering wheel cover For my 1930 Model As, I bought leather steering wheel covers from Wheelskins for about $35. They may be more now. They will make any size you want, and they are top quality. I believe the size that fit my cars was 17" by 1.5".

Re: Steering wheel cover I just saw a couple of steering wheel covers like the one in the photo from al's28/33 on ebay. Search for one on there in Accessories.
