Trying to restore a 1928 Pickup Bed - Can anyone out there recomment a book or reference that they used to restore their 1928-29 Ford Pickup bed or possibly photo' s they could possibly share. My E-mail by the way is t27sedan @aol.com. thanks Tom

hope these help ...
be careful, the early beds were a coupla inches longer (don't ask how i know :eek:) requiring longer wood than in the plans

This is great. I have a 29 CC PU...bed has no rust, but is dinged up a bit...and it appears that at least one side is "hogged".

I restored a 31 and also had RESTORING THE MODEL " A" PICKUP by Mack Hils. Between that and the Mac catalog I had few problems. The wood goes in straight forward and the nut and bolt kit was amazing. Best of luck with your adventure!
