I have heard that there is no rebuild parts for them. I tried cleaning one up. It didn't work for me.

They have an accelerator pump circuit on the throttle side, don't they? I would like to hear if one could be rebuilt…. how it would compare to a model B Zenith and the model X Tillotson.

They're no good. Send them to me and I'll take care of them for you. J/K. I have one on my doodlebug, it seems to run fine. I did get a gasket set from Smith and Jones. There was a threads on these carbs a little while ago, do a search and you should find it.

Here is a picture of a Tillotson F1B carburetor. I've got a few of them in coffee cans. Ive never tried to run them. I see no reason why they shouldn't work. Its good to know that Smith and Jones have gaskets. Some Zenith parts will also work. The float and needle driver appear the same. http://i193.photobucket.com/albums/z...rld/Jam827.jpg

I believe a lot of the internal parts are the same, but the gasket is noticeably different. Check this out: https://www.fordbarn.com/forum/showth...son+round+bowl
