'32 Grill Shell

This is not a restoration question. Hope I don't get banned!

I'm looking at mounting a reproduction 32 grill and shell on my 29 "A" pre-war banger hot rod project. I messaged the guy selling 32 shells on ebay because he said he would help anyone mounting one of his on an A Model. But I got no answer.

My big questions are 1) would an unfilled 32 shell with a radiator cap allow me run my stock Model A radiator? Do the filler holes match up? and 2) Is there a way to mount the shell to insure that my hood is going to fit correctly.

I tried asking this question over on the HAMB, but my thread never got much of a response before it went into the netherworld.

Thanks in advance for any advice or directions to some info.

Think if you trim up the sides of the shell so it sits lower that they work. Don't know for certain but heard talk of it before.

The answer is yes, but there is a fair amount of trim work to do. Is your project full fendered or Hiboy?

It's a Highboy. I bought it without fenders.

Thanks everyone for the help.
