Cowl Questions

I've found a cowl from Brattons that is made for a roadster #34420 page 141 of 2011 catalog. It says Roadster but will fit all 30/31s except S/W . Now, How do I get the old cowl off off? I see one rivet at the bottom ????
Is the rest of it spotwelded together?
Has anyone put a new one on? and how hard is it? Any pitfalls I should know about?

Re: Cowl Questions

Do you really need to replace the whole panel? It's easier to just replace the typical bottom rotted piece

I don't fully understand your question. What body style do you have, and what are you trying to do?

Thanks for replying. I don't like replacing the whole thing ($$$ + Time and work) But one cowl panel (L) is rusted (holey) up almost to the cowl light hole. This wasn't obvious until it was sandblasted. My friend suggested it would be easier to replace the entire thing, The car is a 1930 Briggs Town sedan.
