I assume you mean the heads with the "C" cast in. They are probably going to be hard to sell and not worth very much ($40 unless they are NOS and then maybe a little more). You need to find someone restoring a 1932-34 Ford four cylinder Ford and most of those guys will already have a few extra heads setting around. You should post your question in the Early V8 section since the heads were used in those years.

This comes up often. I just looked at the Piranio antique automotive dyno sheet and it shows a 6.77 horsepower increase at 2200 RPM. This is a stock model A engine with no other modification than the change to the C head. The three bolt water pump cools much better than the model a water pump. A lot of people feel that its not worth the bother. Personaly, I can feel the 6.77 horsepower increase. I can also appreciate the advantage of the three bolt water pump.

These heads usually go for less than one hundred bucks. If a person didn't want to pay the price of a new higher compression head but needed to gain some more power, a good C head with a rebuildable water pump core could be a good thing. You could pick up a few more horses by adding a B carb and reamed out model A intake manifold.

I had the stock C head on the 33 B in my 30 coupe, but I found it was a big difference when I went from the 4.6 head to the 5.9 Brumfield.I would never go back to a stock head again. It will pull most hills in overdrive now.
