Turlock swap meet/ NEW Model A engine..

No one has posted pics of Turlock for us that couldn't be there. The new Burtz engine was also supposed to be there...first machined block/engine..did anyone get to see it and WHAT?

What was there this year was the ninth test casting of the block. It had been cut in many pieces so you could see where the metal was flowing and were it was not. There is one flow problem to be corrected before production begins.
Last year they had an earlier test block along with the finished crank and rods.

Terry brought the engine to our booth and left it. As was said this was an earlier block showing the problems. He told me that he should get another block this week and he will be sending out a report on what comes of this. He thinks he has the problem solved and should be able to move forward with machining the block he gets.

John,
Thanks! Trying to 'hold out' and not spend funds saved to purchase his creation...it ain't easy what with all the A/B blocks around!
