Front License Plate Holders

1 Attachment(s)
I plan to use my almost fully restored 1930 Model A CCPU as a "daily driver". In the state of NE, this requires a license plate mounted on the front and rear of the vehicle.

I do not like the looks of the usual front license plate mounting on the headlight bar. See picture. I would like to see comments as to what others have done regarding hardware for mounting of a front license plate in other places, such as on the front bumper or other places.

Thanks.

There is an aftermarket bracket to attach your license plate to your front bumper clamp.

Or bolt one of these thru the bumper bolt left or right side.

There is a guy selling these for $25 in Model A Times. Or take a rear holder and mount upside down.

I made a front license plate holder that mounts on the center of the front bumper. I used a Cruiser Accessories license mounting plate, part number 79150 from Advance Auto Parts. It is also available from Amazon. I mounted it with perforated 1/2 inch channel left over from a garage door opener mount, and two center bumper clamps. I painted the angle, and covered the holes with electrical tape. Pictures are attached.
