I would like to know on the stud that the top irons hinge on does the bracket that the stud screws in stick out of the body or is it just the threaded stud that sticks out. If the bracket sticks out how far does it stick out. Also I would like to know the distance between the top iron and the body where the top irons hinge on the stud.
I need to know if there is a rubber grommet that goes around the stud that the top irons on. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

I hope this question isn't to complicated, any close up pictures of the top iron stud coming out of the belt molding would probable answer some of my questions. Thanks
