are all hinges created equal
 

I need two door hinges for my 30 pickup a friend of mine has a spair fourdoor front door does any one know if the hinges are the same hate to spend $300 on new hinges if I can get em for free.

since now one knows the answer I ventured out and looked at a few cars. the 28-29 has a different hing than a 30 31 . and the slant windshield hac a different hing than all of them and the slant only has two hinges where the 28-31 have three.

Fordor and picjup hinges are different. Pickup and tudor hinges on the 30-31'a are the same. Rod

Briggs fordor hinges won't work. Murray front fordor hinges may work.

There are by my last count 262 different door hinges on Model A Fords. the hinges that will work for you are 1930-1931 Coupe, Sport Coupe, Tudor sedan and Pickups only. Left and right are the same. The upper, middle and lower are different. ANY 4 door sedan hinges will NOT work. Briggs hinges are different in 1928 then 1929-1930. Murray hinges are all different then Briggs hinges.
