About eight years ago, I was lucky enough to obtain a copy of this book from a used bookstore. When I spoke to the saleswoman, she said unfortunately there was writing in it. I told her that was fine and to send it anyway. Upon receiving it , I was pleased to see an inscription that was a dedication for a couple's 30th wedding anniversary, celebrated in 1955. They reminisced about the good old days and their new model T Ford. Kind of makes the book even more special.

Usually it's available cheap at eBay, but the only one there now is $39.02...
This one ending a few days ago didn't sell at $5: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Tin-Lizzie-S...-/330618991204
A seller at the Abebooks site has one for $15, so they're not so hard to come by. http://www.barnesandnoble.com/w/tin-...ern/1104289905
An uglier new edition seems to have been printed recently - http://www.barnesandnoble.com/w/tin-...ern/1104289905

Aunte Betty was a school librarian and noticed my love for antique cars at an early age(10), and made sure I got a book or two at Christmas. Tin Lizzie was one of my favorites, and was read cover to cover several times. I'm forever stuck in the 1960's era of the old car hobby, when you could still drive down the road and spot a T in someones back yard.
