running board

HI: I want to know who can put the mats on ORIGINAL RUNNING BOARD'S. I have a set of 31 running boards and I want to know who can put the mats on and make them look like the Original boards. The mats were originaly molded on and so was the beading so I was told. So if any one knows were I can send them and have this done. Thanks let me know reggiedog

I am not sure of how you can get them "molded" on as they were originally. The Rootlieb running boards were that way and maybe Tom, from Rootlieb, could give you the contact for the person that was molding them on. I think that was part of the problem however as to why they were not making them anymore. Another option is in the Brattons catalog they have a 1931 running board mat #21930 that says pyramid design with half round rubber trim molded into the rubber. You could glue that on and it would look like the right style from the top. I would not be completely original but another option.
