A number of Model “A” Ford owners around the world have come together and declared Saturday, September 10, 2011 as INTERNATIONAL MODEL “A” DAY.
There is a contingency plan for a local rain event date of Sunday, Sept. 11.

To celebrate the day and their car’s eightieth birthday, thousands of Model “A” Ford Restorers and Preservers will be taking their cars out for a drive, and to socialize with other Model “A” enthusiasts. The specific activities will be determined by each local group, found in all fifty states and about thirty other countries. Some groups will be driving to picnics; others will participate in car shows and contests to help celebrate the day.

Many groups are expected to coordinate their activities with local Ford dealers, some of which will help support the day’s activities. Local leaders are encouraged to get both local club members and club non-members out to participate in this event.

We ask the support of XXXXXXXXXX, to help solicit participation and media awareness of this event.

I look forward to attending the New England Meet.
I will have a IMAFD Banner along on the tour for mounting, and I will have patches along too.
It should be a GRANDE TOUR with over one-hundred cars participating in New Jersey on IMAFD Sept 10th !!

WE STILL HAVE ADDITIONAL PATCHES, Both iron-on and without glue on the back.
Why not get them for your club for that price?

Five Model A Clubs and two Ford Dealership have joined forces to creat a 2011 Model A Day Event. Held in The little town of Ben Wheeler, Texas in East Texas. Any of you Model A'ers who are not members of the Five clubs are also invited. There will be hamburgers and all the fixings and some kind of belly wash to cool down with. This is an event for ALL Model A people and cars NOT just clubs. Y'ALL COME AND ENJOY THE FELLOWSHIP. ken
