Finish of Dovetails and Attaching Screws

Sorry if I overlooked this in the JS, but what is the correct finish on the dovetails and mounting screws. Is it bright nickel like the rest of the plated hardware?

Thanks - Hunter

I wish I had a better pic, but the dovetails were unpolished nickel. The early one on the left has been replated. The screws were typical nickel plate.

Marco,

This is probably a silly question, but the side profile of the top row of dovetails, it appears the part that engages in the door is not 90 degrees to the mounting surface. Is this real or just an illusion.

If real is that 4A or 4B?

The last footnote says the dovetails are interchangable, I assume this meeans they would work but for a 29 coupe but #4A is correct?

Thank you for the picture and the information on finish.

Thanks - Hunter

4-B is tapered where 4-A is not. Repros I've seen are a poor facsimile of 4-B. The tapered version was introduced in mid-'30.
