The distributor locking nut had come lose and the timing went away. That combined with a lose spade connection on the power side of the coil caused the problems.
Again, the Packard 440 wires were purchased from F&S, thus refuting the claims that they won't work with an electronic ignition. On second thought, I guess the problem wasn't those pesky F-A-M's! |

How have you jetted those two 97(?)strombergs to run right? Some think 'overcarburated'..if 2 97s used. Is that a '32 front engine mount? :confused: |
