Best Airbrush
 

I'm considering buying an airbrush for touching up samll imperfections on my car that have occured during assembly. I use PPG Concept throughout. Does anyone have a recommendation on a particular brand?

Iwata is the only way to go, Buy the HP-CS, its a good all around workhorse, a bit over 100 bucks at Coast Airbrush

I'm curious as to how well that works for touch-up work? Is that a reasonable application for an airbrush?

I bought this mini-gun on ebay a few years back & it exceeded my expectations.
It has the same adjustments as full size guns...air control & trigger stop, with the addition of a tip that you twist to precisely adjust the pattern. I added a tiny air regulator.
It's easy to set up for any viscosity product you choose. The advantage is you can pretty much "set it & forget it".

Previously I had a fairly high-end airbrush but I couldn't get used to the dualaction trigger and it drove me mad constantly refilling the tiny cap . I'm sure any artists reading this are laughing because the airbrush is a wonderfull tool for a wide range of work...especially once you master the trigger action

It's seems I was clumsy & generally ended up wearing half the paint & inhaling the rest :o

To each his own, but I find if there's a bunch of small areas or parts to paint then this thing's quite relaxing...cuz I can set the little gun once and have it spray the same everytime I pick it up.
I also like the feature that it hangs on a hook (or nail in the wall)

In the photo is a windshield frame getting DP90 epoxy with no reducer.
On the other hand you could thin the product, tweak a few screws...and dust in the head on a pin.
