CCPU body block question I think I know the answer to this but need to be sure. The 1929 CCPU only has 3 body blocks per side with the front one being kind of long with a curved shape. On my cab, this one is sandwiched between two peices of sheet metal from the cowling. Is there another block (same shape) that goes under this one or just the rubber shim? In other words, below the steel and above the splash rail?
Thanks! Bob |
Re: CCPU body block question You are correct, the wood gets sandwiched between the metal.
There is a similar shaped rubber piece that goes between the bottom of the cab and the top of the splash shield to start with. You may have to use some more rubber pieces as shims in this cowl location to get the proper alignment of the radiator/hood/doors. |
Re: CCPU body block question Thanks Dan! That is what I thought but I wanted to be sure.
