odd Engine Numbers

I have two engines I am trying to identify and I am assuming they were stamped by the engine rebuilder who did them with their own numbers. Has anybody out there seen these types and can tell who or what they are from? *RF 8168* (* is actually a full star as on an A number) and
SC 19264

I can identify the *RF 8168* : the RF is Richmond Ford ; it is probable a diamond block, look just above the side timing case cover for a small diamond cast into the block; if so, the exhaust valves will have hard seats. These were new blocks made by Ford, when assembled a new B camshaft was normally installed with a good original A crankshaft, A rods and new pistons. The other Ford location on the West Coast that assembled these complete replacement engines was Long Beach; these engines were stamped *LB ----*.
