35-36 Ford Rear Shocks Test for Rebuildable?

I have some 35-36 rear Ford shocks that could be a core for rebuild, but if they do not move with a wrench are they junk?

Let me know what you think.

Thanks

From what I gather, what you have or if they are wobbling very loosely, they are scrap.

could be just dried up oil— what does it look like on the underside of the filler plug and inside the reservoir?

Gary, nearly always, what you have is scrap.

Send the shocks to Andy, the rebuilder, he will tell you.

Or, if you are replacing them, consider replacing with Lovejoys... have them on my 35.
