Working on a 33 chassis. When the fuel line gets to the front does it go through the X member or turn up behind it and go to the firewall? Thanks

Assuming a 33 is the same as a 34 it goes through the X member and then up onto the firewall.

What the Art Doctor shows is how my 34 was when I originally built it. Very similar routing as a 32 has.

I thought that ‘32-‘35’s used a siamese style gas line with the small side going from the fuel sending unit to the gauge. I’m not seeing that in the pictures.

They do. The project I’m working on will be using an electric gauge so I’m using just the 1/4” copper plated steel fuel line .

That little pipe was cut off of mine where it exited the firewall and removed the whole way back to the tank before I got it. The extra black wire you see is the lead from the sending unit to the '36 truck electronic gauge I am using.
