1935 Dome Light Mounting Screws

Anyone know what kind and size screws to mount the wood rectangular mount for the dome light?

Here's what I did on my 1935 Truck.

The original dome light is from a 1936 truck and it came with three No. 4 x 5/8" slotted round head screws for mounting the dome light to the block of wood from the inside of the dome light.

I used three No. 6-32 x 3/4" machine screws to attach the metal plate on the front of the wood block. I drilled holes in the cab top rail corresponding to the holes the in plate. I then fabricated a 1/2" wide and 5" long strip of 1/8" sheet metal and threaded 6-32 holes in it. I put some Loctite on the screws threads and held the metal plate inside the cab top rail with one hand while also holding the wood block with the same hand and my another hand turned the screwdriver until all the screws were started, then tightened them all up.

I don't recall the screw type I used on the back metal plate of the wood block which is attached to the roof rib but probably they were no. 6 slotted round head sheet metal screws.

This is what I did for a truck so if you are working on a car, I'm not sure if it's the same. I've attached an image of the dome light block for a Model 51 Truck for comparison.
