Cam ID help 3 Attachment(s)
I got a couple camshafts in a load of stuff. I’m sure they’re for early motors but I’m not sure why the noses are different. Hopefully the pics are adequate……..

Re: Cam ID help The way I understand it, the short nose on the left is for a 59A type engine and the long nose is for a pre war 78 or 81A engine. I just had my 1937 21 stud rebuilt and the camshaft was replaced with the short nose camshaft and I had to get a button (drive adapter) to connect my helmet distributor to the cam nose.
