I hope Santa is good to you boys, because a lift is real handy. Plus when you're not actually using it, it's an extra storage space. I got mine about 8 years ago and have been kicking myself ever since for not doing it sooner. The guy I had scheduled to install mine finked out at the last minute, and I'm glad he did. I friend and I installed mine over a three day stretch using just my cherry-picker. Installing it was not that difficult, but provided me with a complete understanding of how it works and what can go wrong. Making periodic adjustment was second nature and were necessary a couple of times when it was new because the cables will stretch a bit when new.

A 32 3 window. does not need to be perfect, actually in pieces would be easier for Santa to handle, that would be fine

Tim,
Congrats on retirement!
Here's to getting time for all your projects. But, don't be surprised when you realize and wonder how you were able to give the corporate office 8 hours per day because you are so busy now.
Next year it will be 20 years for me --- and I still haven't made a dent in the projects. And, if I was 35 years younger, I too would want Santa to bring me a builder to raise the garage roof and then also a lift.
