Triple Carb Intake gasket.

50 Ford flathead with Offenhouser triple carb intake manifold. Is there a special intake gasket for this? The front of the intake has two holes One for oil fill and the other, I assume, is for a road draft tube. My problem is there is no cutout in the gasket to match the hole and that makes the road draft tube useless. I'm sure I can cut a hole in the new gasket to match but was wondering if this intentionally blocked or am I overthinking the whole thing? Thanks.

Re: Triple Carb Intake gasket.

Get a 49-53 gasket unless there is something that won't work using it. Seems like you have a pre 49 gasket

Re: Triple Carb Intake gasket.

Thanks Paul. I didn't realize there was a difference. I ordered a complete 49 to 53 gasket set for my rebuild and all went well except for the intake gasket. I'll cut a hole in it and that will solve my problem.
