Door alignment on a 29 CCPU

I am restoring a 29 CCPU cab. The passenger side door fits pretty well. However the drivers side door has a large gap between the body and the door lip (flange) - nearly a 1/2" in the lower portion of the door. I don't know if the door can be twisted a little to align it better. Has anyone had this problem and if so, how did you solve it?
Thanks for any help

The door CAN be twisted as you surmise. I suppose best done "off" the car and supported by means other than the hinge pillar (lest you bend the hinge pillar too in your enthusiasm.)

You can put your foot on the bottom and pull out on the top and see if you can "tweek" it to lay flatter.

The other way you might tweek this would be to put a jack or other prop "diagonal crosswise" between lower driver and upper passenger side - in the cab. You'll want to watch how the passenger door meets and maybe "split the difference" between the two sides. (Keep in mind you're bending the bit of the body at the door lock rail - the back of the cab is essentially square and can't really be affected that much.)

I guess I would start with the "heel on the running board" method first and see how it goes. I got my 82A cab doors to lay pretty flat (not perfect) by this.
