Clutch release rod
 

Have a 50 model custom with Flathead V8. The clutch release rod has a bend on one end where it hooks into the clutch release bar. Does it make any difference if it hooks from the inside of the bar or the outside. In the Ford manual it looks like it hooks from the outside but not sure. It does have a different angle on the rod where it hooks to the clutch form arm.
