35 Fuel Gauge Info I need some advice as to the best way to attach the little fitting that goes on
the end of the gauge air line. I own an acetylene torch which I feel would be too much flame even with my smallest tip. I also own an electric soldering gun. What type of solder should I use? Peter |
Re: 35 Fuel Gauge Info Clean it all real good and solder it

Re: 35 Fuel Gauge Info rosin core solder.I have done a bunch. Chase the threads on the hex with a thread chaser also so nut goes on without resistance..Die won't clear the space between hex and gauge case.

Re: 35 Fuel Gauge Info Propane torch or wife's kitchen torch. Acid core solder is also good or low temp silver solder from the hardware store. Clean any flux deposits after soldering.
