64 F100 no clutch after rebuilt steering box Hello everyone
I have a 64 F100 that i recently removed the steering box in order to rebuild and i had to remove the arms going from the pedal to the z bar and from the z bar to the clutch fork , got everything back on and how it’s suppose to be and now i have no clutch at all but when i parked it i had great clutch , any advice/ help would be appreciated! |
Re: 64 F100 no clutch after rebuilt steering box Do you mean the clutch won’t engage or disengage? Usually if everything was good before, I’d say an adjustment problem because something shifted or didn’t go back quite the same during remove/re install.

Re: 64 F100 no clutch after rebuilt steering box Maybe the arm that goes into the bell housing is not positioned on the pivot point.

Also you might want to check if the throwout bearing is positioned on to the clutch fork arm correctly... . |
Re: 64 F100 no clutch after rebuilt steering box turned out to be just a stuck clutch , clutch in other foot on the brake and putting the truck in first gear and cranking it over got it un stuck!
