Kudos to Cornhusker R&C and Boling Brothers

I recently had a positive experience with two vendors and want to recognize them for their quick response in correcting a problem.

I ordered a Boling Brothers Lincoln style brake kit through Gary, aka Krylon32, at Cornhusker Rod & Customer. As you may know, Gary offers a 10% Ford Barn discount on these parts. The parts arrived promptly and all appeared well until I pulled the second drum out of the packaging. Apparently the parts had seen rough handling during shipping and the drum edge was cracked,

It was mid-afternoon when I contacted Gary and sent him pictures of the damage. He in turn immediately contacted Boling Brothers with the information and they shipped a replacement drum that same afternoon. No questions, no excuses, no forms to fill out, just a replacement part on the way.

This is the kind of customer service that we all want but seem to seldom receive. We too frequently hear about or receive less than satisfactory service so I wanted to share this positive experience. Thank you Gary and Boling Brothers!

Thanks for posting of your positive experience...I too have had great experiences with Gary and Boling Bros in shipping down under to New Zealand.

The Boling Bros drums are quite "robust". It would take a heck of a crash to crack one!

DEI forklift driver maybe. Glad you got it resolved.
