Ford Museum Sale? Does the Ford Museum ever have a sale of parts or vehicles that are donated?
|
Re: Ford Museum Sale? I think they do, it would be best to contact them during business hours to get the most accurate information.

Re: Ford Museum Sale? 34fordy,
Yes, the Early Ford V-8 Museum sells vehicles. You can see their inventory at their Museum Motors webstite at https://www.museumselectmotors.com/. They also sell parts at the swap meets they host. Ken |
Re: Ford Museum Sale? Depend on what museum your talking about, “The Henry Ford” in Dearborn has only had a couple of auctions in the last several decades.

The reason I asked was mainly for a place to donate small parts. I thought that if they do indeed have swap meets it would be a way to get parts to folks restoring (if there are such folks) and maybe provide a little contribution. As I watch the swap meet sections it seems that prewar parts do not seem to be selling well. The available project cars and trucks seem to be few in number and also the folks interested in restoration are quite few in number also. |
Re: Ford Museum Sale? I've donated small early Ford V8 parts to the Early Ford V8 Museum in Auburn, IN. They sell the parts to help raise money for the museum - a worthwhile cause.

Re: Ford Museum Sale? I also suggest the Early Ford V8 Club Museum in Auburn.

Re: Ford Museum Sale? The annual big swap meet is coming up Aug 28-30, 2025 at the Early Ford V8 Foundation Museum in Auburn In, They welcome all donations and vendors!
