1959 Ford Radiator and fan problems

Hi all, I would like some guidance on what is going on, I had to change the water pump twice and the radiator because the pump shaft moved forward and broke the radiator.
I wonder why this is happening?
can anyone tell me how to be sure the fan is balanced correctly or how to check it?'
I need an 18" fan blade 5 or 6 blades for a 1959 Ford Fairlane Galaxie 332.

Did the shaft on the pump move out that far? Sounds like a long ways. Or did it just “happen” with no obvious reason why. The reason I ask, is I’ve seen badly deteriorated motor mounts allow the engine to shift under the right load. Typically braking.

Where did the replace pumps come from, and how long did they last?

First, welcome to the Ford Barn. Is this a new problem that just popped up on a car you have had for years, or is it a car you recently purchased & am not familiar with? How close is your fan to the radiator? Your fan should be 1-1.5 in. from the radiator. Is the water pump shaft really coming out that far to hit the radiator? Never heard of that before, but I guess there is a first time for everything! F F
