Need help with 3-point seat belts I'd appreciate recommendations for front shoulder belts for my 37 Tudor with stock LeBaron Bonney interior. Bad experience with Seat Belt Solutions, who were of no help when I bought a set of theirs in error, and they stone-walled me. I appreciate the help you guys have given me in the past with my many requests.

Re: Need help with 3-point seat belts It might be easier to aid with the three point issue if you were to clearly explain how and where you intend to mount the upper guide. Are you going to reinforce the B pillar then weld in a bolt plate, or maybe reinforce the pillar then just weld in a swivel base? How high up, on the pillar are you planning to attach the upper guide? I have a 35 tudor and after reviewing these options, I think reinforcing the floorboard, at the bolt area and going with old style two point belts is the best and most convenient way to do it. Do your front seats flip forward like the 35s? That shoulder belt is going to become a real problem with out a retractor and a lot of extra belt.

Re: Need help with 3-point seat belts Juliano's Hot Rod Parts (800-300-1932) in CT has kits for the installation of 3 point belts in early Fords and the belts themselves.

Re: Need help with 3-point seat belts pbsdaddy makes sense. Yes, I have fold-ahead front seat-backs, and can see the problems they'd create. I had planned to weld plates in b-pillar, but interference with entry/exit from rear would cause problems. Think I'll stick with the lap belts. Thanks!
