Repair broken horn ring

Any thoughts on how to repair this broken horn ring? You can see the breaks at 10 o'clock and 2 o'clock. I don't know if this is weldable, it looks like pot metal. This particular part is essentially unobtainable either repop or NOS. Obviously, I could go with a similar part rather than this original one but I'd rather fix it.

The problem is that the breaks make the horn particularly difficult to honk, especially when you need to do it right away.

Is there much space behind the ring that is not visible when it is installed? I've had good results using the plastic version of JB Weld although the metal version might work just as well. Layered strips of saturated fiberglass cloth have repaired a dually fender for me.

Might try looking up muggy weld. I’ve seen it mentioned in similar threads. Never used it myself.
