Hi I have som question about this Distrubator
Is it possible to get parts for this type of distributor,points ,condenser
How rare is this type of distributor?

It was originally for '32 V8s and for some of the first few '33s. Not commonplace,, but not as rare nor as valuable as once thought. Some parts are available such as inner and outer distributor caps, points, an condenser as they are common with '33-'35 distributors.

In the photos it is missing the fitting for the vacuum line for the vacuum brake, unique to the '32 distributor.

The diameter of the ignition points was increased in '34 and the plate to accommodate the larger points is a worthwhile improvement.

The coil is rebuildable, if required.

cracks near the mounting holes on the coil are also repairable.

I have one of those coils available, it actually belongs to a friend. It appears NOS, but I don't claim that it is. He asked me to test it on my 1940s era Herbrand coil and condenser tester. I did and it works great. Note the fat blue spark on the tester.
