1935 vs 1936 pickup cabs

Besides the difference in the inside of the doors is there any difference between a 1935 and a 1936 Pickup cab? Thanks, Art

Yes, the A pillar on the early 35 cab has a direct angle, where later 35 and 36 are curved. Early 35 has no windshield drain hole in the corner. The early 35 has small garnish trim piece between the rear window and the top of the door. 35-36 dash gauges are different. 35 has a hydrostatic gas gauge while the 36 is electric. 35 has wire wheels where the 36 has wide 5s.
Early 35 has removable garnish moldings. 7 different "door trim clip" configurations.

Art,

Attached is a figure which shows the windshield-cab pillar to cowl differences.

In addition to what Lawson mentioned, early cabs have two roof supports while later cabs have a single roof support.

All of the differences are included in my book with accompanying illustrations or photographs.

While the truck cabs and pickup cabs have minor differences, both truck and commercial cabs had the same running modifications for 1935 and 1936 so all of the changes occurred at the same time commercial and truck cabs.

Just an anecdote, but over the years I've noticed far more 1-1/2 ton trucks with the early doors that had inside garnish mouldings than I have 1/2 ton pickups.
