V12 engine

Looking for help and info on a V12. I have inherited a Lincoln with a V12. There is no compression on the number one cylinder. I am trying to find a shop manual, if there is one, on the V12. If I do attempt to dismantle the engine to make the repairs myself, I need the torque values and other information on the reassembly. I am also looking for a source for parts, once I discover the problem.
If anyone knows where in the Detroit area of someone who is reputable and would do the work, if I decide this is more than I want to do or beyond my expertise, that would be helpful also.
Thank you in advance.

i know nothing about a v12 , with plug out can you see the valves, if so spray some P B BLASTER in there let soak and try to push a stuck valve back down.

Re: V12 engine

You need to get a copy of the repair manual published for these engines. There are frequently originals in various conditions available. The title is "Repair Manual Lincoln V12 Engines H-Series 1936 - 1947".
At the time I am writing there are three listed on that auction site. There are likely other places to get a copy as well.
